The Spring 2014 Core War Tournament was held on the 31st May at The Centre for Computing History in Cambridge, UK. Gérman Labarga claimed first place.
The Second International Corewar Programming Contest was held in 2011. Inversed claimed first place, followed by Roy van Rijn and Dave Hillis.
The First International Corewar Programming Contest was organised by Christian Schmidt in 2010 with Inversed taking first place.
The Down the Core and More tournament was organised in 2006 by Nenad Tomašev. After 3 rounds first place was taken by Inversed.
Datagram organised the double elimination 2006 Corewar Spring Tournament. Chip Wendell claimed the top spot after 5 rounds.
The Corewar Single Elimination Tournament 2005 was organised by Christian Schmidt. After 5 rounds Chip Wendell was declared winner.
The Redcoders' Frenzy ongoing tournament began in 2003, ending after 25 rounds in 2006.
In the Spring / Summer 2002 Corewar Tournament players battled for 5 rounds, with Michal Janeczek taking first place and winning $100.
The Koth Fall Corewars Tournament was organised in 2000 by JKW. After 7 rounds Robert Macrae claimed the first prize of $500.
Joonas Pihlaja won the Oversby Autumn 1998 Corewar Tournament after 8 rounds.
In 1998 Philip Kendall and Christian Schmidt organised the Redcode Maniacs Tournament. First place was taken by David Moore after 9 rounds.
Anton's Core War Tournament was held in July 1997. Ilmari Karonen and Brian Haskin dominated the contest.

In 1995 Steven Morrell won Nándor and Stefan's Fall Core War Tournament after 9 rounds.
Single Round Tournaments
The Corewars Beginner's League took place in June 2003. First place was taken by Koen Struyve.
The IRC Mini Tournaments started in March 2003. Players only had 30 minutes to write their warrior!
Ilmari's Mini Tournament #2 was held in October 1999. First place was taken by Dave Hillis.
Ilmari's Mini Tournament #1 took place in April 1998. Philip Kendall claimed first place.
The Battle Royal was held in April 1996. First place was taken by John K. Wilkinson.
The Intelligent Warrior Tournament v1.0 took place in March 1996. Kurt Franke claimed first place.
Branch Section Tournaments
The International Core Wars Society ran eight annual Core War tournaments from 1986 to 1993.
The Eighth International Core Wars Society Tournament in January 1994. Paul Kline claimed the first prize of $35.
The Seventh International Core Wars Society Tournament in December 1992. Nándor Sieben tied Anders Ivner for first place.
The Sixth International Core Wars Society Tournament in early 1992. First place was taken by Stefan Röettger.
The Fifth International Core Wars Society Tournament in December 1990. Scott Nelson claimed first place.
The Fourth International Core Wars Society Tournament in February 1990. First place was taken by Botta Francesco.
The Third International Core Wars Society Tournament in December 1988. Eugene P. Lilitko claimed the first prize of $250.
The Second International Core Wars Society Tournament in November 1987. The first place trophy was won by Robert Reed.
The First International Core War Tournament in September 1986. Chip Wendell claimed the trophy for first place.
